Interval Cross Efficiency Measurement for General Two-Stage Systems

چکیده

The data envelopment analysis (DEA), which is based on mathematical programming, employed to measure the relative efficiency of several homogeneous decision-making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. There has been extensive research developing classical DEA models for various forms conditions. For example, ranking such as cross have proposed address shortcomings initial basic models. network systems developed (NDEA), interval (IDEA) provided take into account uncertainty. But using this technique issues that all these conditions requires a single model, in are included. In case study paper, branches banking industry ranked, presented according different approaches NDEA order calculate general two-stage system. Finally, results compared.

A ‎D‎ivergence Measure for Combining Super-Efficiency Scores in Performance Measurement of Two-Stage Production Systems

In the conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) internal sub-processes of the production units are ignored. The current paper develops a network-DEA super-efficiency model to compare the performance of efficient network systems. A new ranking method is developed by aggregating the computed super-efficiency scores with a J-divergence measure. The proposed approach is then applied to evaluate...

Efficiency Measurement in Two-Stage Network Structures Considering Undesirable Outputs

Since data envelopment analysis (DEA) introduced in 1970s, it has been widely applied to measure the efficiency of a wide variety of production and operation systems. Recently DEA has been extended to examine the efficiency of decision making units (DMUs) with two-stage network structures or processes, where the outputs from the first stage are intermediate measures that make up the inputs of t...

A Ratio-Based Efficiency Measurement for Ranking Multi-Stage Production Systems in DEA

Conventional data envelopment analysis (DEA) models are used to measure efficiency score of production systems when they are considered as black boxes and their internal relationship is ignored. This paper deals with a common special case of network systems which is called multi-stage production system and can be generalized to many organizations. A multi stage production system has some stages...

EFFICIENCY MEASUREMENT OF NDEA WITH INTERVAL DATA

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a non-parametric technique for evaluation of relative efficiency of decision making units described by multiple inputs and outputs. It is based on solving linear programming problems. Since 1978 when basic DEA model was introduced many its modifications were formulated. Among them are two or multi-stage models with serial or parallel structure often called net...

An efficiency measurement framework for multi-stage production systems

We develop an efficiency measurement framework for systems composed of two subsystems arranged in series that simultaneously computes the efficiency of the aggregate system and each subsystem. Our approach expands the technology sets of each subsystem by allowing each to acquire resources from the other in exchange for delivery of the appropriate (intermediate or final) product, and to form com...
